About Me

I've had an interest in photography since a very young age. Some of my earliest memories are of my father always having a camera and taking umpteen photos of myself as a child, and these still adorn the walls of my parents to this day.

Following a traumatic time in my life, in 2007 I got my first bridge camera and the bug bit hard. Suddenly I started looking closer and harder at things and wanted to record the moments forever. There were many images that were hit by the "deletion" key but more and more were "keepers" I read more and experimented more and my love grew. My children soon grew tired of the camera lens and more subjects including wild animals were sought.

In 2009 I grew up and purchased a DSLR, Canon 400d, this camera has served me well on many shoots and hope for many more. Where I may not have the top of the range equipment, I try and make up for in enthusiasm. Each year brings a new lense for me to experiment with or new software to try.

I try to make my subjects as varied as possible and diverse, my specialisms are Boudoir and Pet photography.

I am "owned" by a selection of dogs, an old GSD cross (Rebel) , two newfoundlands (Bruno & Apollo) and one afghan puppy (Gibbs aka Tulak The Sentinel at Tazieff JW) and you will see these featured on many occasions within my shots - free models and all that . In 2010 I gained seperate interest in my mothers KC Affix of Tazieff and hope to bring this "old" Affix back into the show ring for many years.

My partner Richard is "owned" by five German Shepherds again these feature on my site, Richard's Affix of Kizmeka is a relatively new one from 2010 but hopefully will continue to be within the show ring for years to come, with showing and breeding.

This is just a little insight into me and what I am about.
